Lip Synch Animation: Man You Seek

My first attempt at lip synch and first animation of the new year, and golly it is lots of fun.

This is Sir Anthony Hopkins from The Silence of the Lambs, and the line is, "What does he do, this man you seek?".

Emily's Secret Santa Present

Since we are poor college students, we 2nd Year Animation students do secret Santa with drawings. I don't know how this was possible, but I got my best buddy Emily and she wanted Newton and Hermann from Pacific Rim; which is and amazing movie by the way.

"Leave Me Alone" Leica Reel and Storyboards

My Leica reel and storyboards for my story, "Leave Me Alone". It was a lot of hard work, but it got laughs from the class, so to me that is rewarding. All the storyboards cane be found below for your viewing please.

Expression Change :Amimation Assignment

An animation of a poor school girl just trying to do her work and getting blamed for something she didn't do; a.k.a. Me.
I know there is some body volume issues, but nonetheless it is still entertaining :)

3-Shot Layout and Painting

Two layout based assignments from last term. The first was to create a story with adding 3 additional shots to our previous layout assignment (the panel in the top right corner).

Then for painting we had to show our process work for how we build up our paintings into finals. I just used the interior of the previous layout assignment too.

Shego airbrushing experiment for painting.

I think I found my new love!

This was my first time trying traditional airbrushing, and golly, it was so much fun! I might do some more in class if I have time next week. Once again, it is Shego from Kim Possible. I feel she was the best thing to air brush since she has the glowing hands; so awesome :D

What I was doing instead of homework :P

I have been on a Kim Possible marathon as of late and I really needed to draw to help me blow of some steam and stress :) Growing up, Shego had to have been my favourite character from that show and my childhood in general.

And after watching the show more closely with animation trained eyes, I discovered that show was stylized in so many different ways; it is crazy. Expect more Kim Possible art in the future!
